If you have the kind of kid(s) who will not, under ANY circumstances, eat vegetables, try juicing!
There are many benefits to juicing.
The most important one is that it’s a fun and easy way to get all those nutrients into your little ones.
The first thing you will need is a good juicer. There are many types out there, so do your research.
I would suggest getting the good kind where you don’t have to peel or chop the fruits and vegetables – you know, so you’ll actually use it.
They cost $200-$300 for top of the line but they are oh so worth it!
Once you get your juicer, get some fresh organic fruits and veggies and go to town! Get the kids involved. They are more likely to drink it if they helped make it.
There are thousands of recipes out there for great tasting, nutritious juices, but you can start with one of my favs:
6-8 leaves of Dinosaur Kale
1 cup spinach leaves
2 celery stalks
1 lemon (peeled)
Tip: You can add more apples or coconut water to sweeten.
Serve over ice & enjoy!
